I started out years ago doing the right-side up method bracing against the ceiling in my garage. Then we moved into an aircraft hangar where bracing off the ceiling wasn’t possible so we switched to the upside-down method. The new shop also has high ceilings but with conveniently spaced columns we rigged a cable to brace against.
