After thoroughly sanding the second coat of primer by hand (great for the back and arms) I moved on to the first coat of finish paint.
The sanding was done last night to give the dust time to settle out. Brushing out the marine enamel is always a moment of truth: any mistakes made up to this point are now painfully obvious. Other than some imperfections that were woven into the canvas and will be addressed with the subsequent coats, this boat is getting close to its former glory.
