For the first time in over 100 years a little 12′ Morris was pulled off of the form yesterday. We wanted to have this one ready for the Assembly last summer but when it became obvious we had to concentrate on finishing restoring the original we pushed the first reproduction to the side. We have several restorations in progress and we kept walking past the little Morris. We’ve worked her back into the rotation! After fairing the ribs we bent on last summer we got her planked up over the last few days. Next we’ll set the rails, decks, and stems so we can close up the ends.
A Morris is Born
